How to Add Hyperlinks in Canva

  3. Click on the “Link” option. A window will pop up.
  4. In the window, you have this options:
    • Website URL: Enter the full web address (URL) you want the hyperlink to lead to.
    • Email: Enter the email address you want the hyperlink to send an email to.
    • Another page in the same project –> This is great to create digital PDF files like planners or journals.
  5. After entering the URL or email, click the “Apply” button.

  1. You can customize how the hyperlink looks:
    • Text: Change the hyperlink’s text (if it’s a text element).

    • Underline: Toggle the underline on/off.
    • Style: Apply any desired font or style changes.

Step 5: Test the Hyperlink

To make sure the hyperlink works as intended:

  1. Click the “Preview” button at the top right to see your design in action.
  2. If the hyperlink is working, you’re good to go!

Step 6: Download or Share

After confirming that your hyperlinks work, you can save your design as a downloadable file or directly share it on social media, websites, or wherever you’d like.

Tips:

  • Hyperlinks work best in interactive digital formats like PDFs, presentations, and web graphics.
  • Remember that some platforms may have restrictions on using hyperlinks, so always check the platform’s guidelines.
